This tweed combines a classic heathered palette with earthy-colored flecks of Donegal tweed–viscose and acrylic neps that are spun alongside the Peruvian Highland wool. The tweedy Donegal neps add a rustic and traditional appeal to everything from cabled pullovers to outdoorsy hats and mitts. Wonderfully warm for all weather, this sturdy, all-purpose yarn has excellent stitch definition and heirloom durability. As a worsted weight yarn, it’s a happy medium weight that’s commonly used for everything from garments to home goods, and Wool of the Andes’ heathered color palette with neutral-colored neps looks as cozy as your finished pieces will feel.
Use Wool of the Andes Tweed Worsted to create bouncy cables, gorgeous textures, or beautiful colorwork.
Lost Lake Heather is a dusty blue green color. Turquoise blue and yellow flecks give Lost Lake a mottled look like a lake nestled deep in the woods surrounded by lavish trees as the sun sneaks in and reflects beautiful blue and green tones on the water.
