This tweed combines a classic heathered palette with earthy-colored flecks of Donegal tweed–viscose and acrylic neps that are spun alongside the Peruvian Highland wool. The tweedy Donegal neps add a rustic and traditional appeal to everything from cabled pullovers to outdoorsy hats and mitts. Wonderfully warm for all weather, this sturdy, all-purpose yarn has excellent stitch definition and heirloom durability. As a worsted weight yarn, it’s a happy medium weight that’s commonly used for everything from garments to home goods, and Wool of the Andes’ heathered color palette with neutral-colored neps looks as cozy as your finished pieces will feel.
Use Wool of the Andes Tweed Worsted to create bouncy cables, gorgeous textures, or beautiful colorwork.
North Pole Heather is a color reminiscent of cool shadows on a snow-covered field. Hints of sky and powder blue are combined with heathered flecks of cream for a soft and understated light blue.
